My wife and I took our honeymoon and booked through apple vacations. I couldnt have been happier. Hell they got a a direct flight from Michigan to the Dominican Republic. It only took a few hours when other people had connecting flights and that took up to 6 hours or more

Sorry i dont do all inclusive it has a negative impact on other businesses, people who stay at all inclusive does not really get they money worth,a lot of water down drinks,do you want to eat at the same hotel every day and night? self catering is the way to go it is much cheaper you get to sample more culture and see more and you are not on any ones timetable.

When I went to Cuba I searched online for the best deal. I found that the best all inclusive packages were through specialist tour operators that dealt only with bookings in that area.

When my wife and I went on our honeymoon, we called a few travel agents, then realized we could get just as good of a deal ourselves. We researched for hours and decided on an all-inclusive resort in Antigua…absolutely perfect. The only complaint I have is there was some bugs at one of the restaurant, but it was on the other side of the resort and we only ate there once.

Sandals was my favorite all inclusive. right now they are having a great deal and if I was looking for a vacation right now I would definitely take advantage of it. I booked through the website. You can read my about my experience at my blog:

I think the cost right now averages at about $150 pp/pn depending on which Sandals you go to. ( savings of 60%)
