I want to spend about three days in each city. I have heard the hotel / air / train package from a travel agency is the cheapest way to do this. Any thoughts?

Good deals? lol no way! Europe is very expensive atm! I’m English and I was gonna go to London for my b-day with my mum and the prices have gone up so much! The rest of Europe also is very expensive atm, I have to do work placement in a travel agency and all the prices are much higher than they once were.
Getting from London to Paris should be cheap and it is easy to get from London to Paris. Getting from Paris to Rome will be harder and more expensive. 3 days in each city is a good amount of time to spend.
To do all 3 will cost much so you won’t be able to stay in nicest of Hotels unless you are rich but the small and cheaper hotels in Rome are still very nice and descent, as are the ones in London but I’m not sure about Paris (I have never been there).
The best way to get to Paris from London is by Eurostar – it’s a high speed train which takes just over 2 hours. I don’t know what your budget is – do you really want to slum it? There’s a website called Couch Surfing which my Aussie friends have used, you may want to have a look.

Otherwise I would suggest you look on the Travelodge website for decent rooms in London. I hope you have a great trip.
