what are some really good travel tips?

Does anyone know how to get you the best deal on flights? I just have to Priceline and Orbitz and the prices looked decent ($ 200 one-way, one person, one stop, 5 clock. All together), but I wonder whether it was a miracle I did not know the spot. :) Oh yeah, we’re in the military.

where can I find really cheap vacation packages to Amsterdam?

I live in Hilton Head, South Carolina and I am planning a trip to the Netherlands and I really do not want to spend too much money in travel and hotel. I’m searching online for cheap a while and I know, I think it is as what I found so far. Friends of mine was really cheap, but they forget where they booked the trip through. Can someone help me? I would like to spend no more than 1,000 total for two people for a 7 day trip (with no money of course).
