The term panther is a misnomer given to black leopards – the black cat is a black leopard.
Panthera pardus is the latin name of leopard, and black cat is also leopard, but melanistic morph….so two lepards hangin out…:D

The black one is a leopard, I believe. Leopards have the more out – ish face… ya know? the spotted one is the jaguar. Jaguars have more of a round – ish face.
