How about hotel bonuses? Or do you have to book it directly from their websites?
Can you still get airline miles (united) if you book a flight w/ a package from Yahoo Travel Vacation Packages?

Airline miles are earned even if we book through the agents but only for regular fares. Packages and bonuses normally do not anymore entitle us with mileage but it is safe to clear this first with the concerned airline as policy varies among companies.
you can obtain airline miles whenever you fly. If the yahoo travel package website doesn’t allow you to enter your miles number, then you can always add your miles number at the departure counter before you fly. Don’t forget as it is harder to add it after the flight…always do this before.
same with hotel points…you can always add your number at the hotel.
