Have met several times on short cat in the motorhome. Cat driving under the sofa, and seems to get scared. We stopped for a dog to break in the grass, put the letting of dog and cat. . . Cat was uncooperative and fought the lease. Cats can be trained for lease? Other than putting litter in a motor home can be one of you travel information for cats.

I find that the harness type of leashes work best for cats. You just have to get him/her used to it. the more you put it on them, the more they’ll adapt. try leaving the harness on it with the leash off when you’re in the motor home so it gets used to what the harness feels like.
You might want to take the cat for a few test runs in the motor home. Some animals get motion sickness just like we do,and now is the time to discover that so your vet can prescribe the medication that you will need to take with you for the trip.
Cats can be trained for leashes just like any other animal. Leave the leash on the the cat until cat is completely calm (by that I mean the cat can lie down and sleep a few minutes with it on), remove the harness and leash when you see that the cat has calmed down. Repeat this process over and over several times a day.
Make sure that your cat has an ID tag with your name, and phone number and cell phone number since you will be traveling.
Take lots of toys for her to play with and yummy treats to encourage her to come out from under the sofa.
Take a box or a cat carrier or something where she can hide and feel safe for her naps.
I was able to get my kitten to tolerate a leash & harness, but I started right away and pretty much let him lead me. I only forced him in a certain direction if he was about to go somewhere I couldn’t or where I didn’t want him to go.
My girl loves to travel. Her first time in a car, she was terrified. After the first couple of hours she began to enjoy all the new scenery. She goes ‘Bye-Bye’ about once a month now. She knows she’s getting a special treat when I get her “dressed” in her harness and leash. We also have a soft side kitty carrier, but she doesn’t use that exept when we find ourself in a crowded or unstable environment. She loves to go ‘Bye-Bye’ just as it is starting to get dark. She seems to get exited by watching all the store, street, and auto lights.
